Google pay not working on rooted phone

The app developer I’m talking to is a great guy. He’s just started his own company, and this is his first app. He built it based on his idea, so you can tell he has a passion for it.

I asked him why he only did a little marketing before launching his app.

He says they were too busy building the product and figured they’d start getting some traction after launch. The problem was that their app needed to be optimized for their target market and simplified for their primary use case (get paid to take screenshots). They also weren’t gaining any real traction from word of mouth, so they decided to stop developing and focus on marketing instead.

I talk about how rare this approach is and point out that if you launch with no marketing, you should have a plan for when things go wrong.

I tell him about all the apps I’ve reviewed in the past year where either 1) the developer didn’t respond to my emails or 2) when I asked them how they were doing, they said, “we’re not doing so well” or “not good.”

This was never true, but people get upset when developers don’t answer them right away, so it’s best to find out what’s going on before making a big deal out of things if someone doesn’t respond right away (especially if they’re an expert in your niche).

After explaining this, he tells me that he replied to my email today after being asked by one of his friends what happened with Paymium’s shutdown. He gave me a full run-down of everything that happened without mentioning anything about having problems with Paymium – which was fine by me since I had no idea what happened there anyway (the reason why we have support staff who review apps is because there are sometimes issues like

You can get paid for apps/services without owning your Android device.

Google Pay is a great way to make money, but there are other choices. You can also use apps and services that pay you directly through your bank account. These apps and services allow you to set up recurring payments so that they automatically charge your account every month or week.

There are two main categories of these programs: store-based and direct-to-card (D2C). Both have pros and cons, but if you want more information on how they work, I recommend checking out this article from [Q&A].

To ensure your app is working, you should try it out before spending money on it.

If it works, give a little cash to the developer and keep using the app.

If you’re having issues with your rooted phone and can’t get Google Pay to work, don’t be afraid to ask for help from other developers on XDA who may have had similar troubles. They’re usually happy to help if you’ve questions or concerns about their creation. And if all else fails? Just keep using Google Pay as usual!

If you need help getting paid, check with the developer. Use their support email or chat them up on Twitter.

Don’t be afraid to ask for help! There’s no shame in asking for refunds, replacements, or discounts when things don’t work as expected.

You’ll also want to contact your bank and credit card companies if Google pays doesn’t show up in your account within 24 hours after making an In-App purchase (like buying an app).

If something goes wrong with using an app, feel free to ask for help.

Be bold and ask questions!
